New Project in the Pipeline: SMART TANG
GUDP has published a great article about the SMART TANG project that we are part of, together with Wavy Wonders and Aarhus University, among others. The project aims to scale and streamline the entire chain in relation to seaweed cultivation - and it is our task to make delicious products out of the seaweed so that it can end up on the Danes' plates.

"Our project will demonstrate a method for growing sugar seaweed on a larger scale in a more efficient way. Right now we are working with different cultivation methods, but we have to get the yield up and the costs down (…) We have to work with the whole process – i.e. both how the nets are seeded and hung at sea, how we harvest, and how the biomass is to be treated after harvesting”. - Anette Bruhn, Aarhus Universit.
